Lion's, Eagle's and Frog's spotted in Walnut Creek!
Yoga for Kids Classes offered at World Yoga in Walnut Creek.
January 8 2004--World Yoga Healing Arts Center is proud to announce Yoga for Kids Classes starting January 14th.
In yoga for kids classes, the classes are fun and playful, and at the same time teach valuable skills that help kids meet the challenges of everyday life. Children learn to relax, to concentrate, to be gentle with others, to become aware of their bodies, and how to be still and quiet.
Toi Lynn Prevost, a Child Therapist and owner of World Yoga, says: techniques learned in class can be consciously applied in everyday life. For instance, postures such as the balancing tree are held, thereby practicing sustained focus and concentration that can also be applied to other areas such as academics, sports and music. And finally, one of the greatest benefits is improved self esteem!
What happens in Yoga for Kids Class?
